Security

At Ixor, we take data security very seriously.

Data security is an integral part of our daily operations. It is an essential component of our solutions and our organization, it is embedded in our people, processes, and technologies.

Ixor’s informational and IT assets are protected against internal, external, deliberate, or accidental threats. We mitigate the risks associated with theft, loss, misuse, damage, or abuse of these systems.

Security Approach

Every employee is well-trained to ensure that all data is handled securely. They are responsible for information security, including the protection of:

  • Information assets
  • Customer and partner information assets
  • Business methodologies and knowledge
  • The underlying technology infrastructure

Data Protection Principles

We adhere to the following principles to ensure the protection of data:

  • Confidentiality: Protecting information from disclosure to unauthorized parties.
  • Integrity: Safeguarding information from being modified by unauthorized parties.
  • Availability: Ensuring that authorized parties can access information when needed for business processes.

Access Control

We ensure information is protected against any unauthorized access. Users only have access to resources that they have been specifically authorized to access. The allocation of privileges is strictly controlled and reviewed regularly to maintain security.

Compliance and Best Practices

We aim to comply with and, wherever possible, exceed national legislative and regulatory requirements, standards, and best practices.

Business Continuity

We develop, maintain, and test business continuity plans to ensure we stay on course despite any obstacles. This approach helps us maintain operations during disruptions. It’s all about "keep calm and carry on".

Training and Awareness

We raise awareness of information security by making security training available to all employees. Security awareness is conducted consistently, and security responsibilities are reflected in job descriptions. Compliance with our security requirements is expected and accepted as part of our culture.

Incident Reporting

We ensure that no action will be taken against any employee who discloses an information security concern through reporting or direct contact with the Information Security Management Leader unless such disclosure indicates, beyond any reasonable doubt, an illegal act, gross negligence, or a repetitive deliberate or willful disregard for regulations or procedures.

If you notice a security issue or have questions regarding security, please contact us via security@ixor.be or by using the form at security.ixor.be
